What can be pain in the side of my foot?

I have arthritis and recently, my hip was really bad. I take anti-inflammatory pills and help a little. But now the pain in my foot on the side and my foot became very swollen and painful. The side of my leg hurts too much. Ice helps.Could be gout? I had plantar fasciitis for 5 months but this is better now. Now he is on the side my foot.
