Symptoms Gout Fingers
Relief of symptoms of gout - Does gout affects the fingers, or just the swollen feet?
The ring on my right hand tends to often swell. I do not wear a ring and no harm to the cause. Inflammation is a little dark, but disappear after a few days. What could be?
Gout is a painful condition that occurs when the body waste product uric acid is deposited in the needle-like crystals in joints and / or soft tissues. In the joints, the uric acid crystals cause inflammatory arthritis, which in turn leads to intermittent swelling, redness, heat, pain and joint stiffness. Gout affects mostly joints of the big toe (called podagra disease). But many other joints and areas around the joints may be affected, in addition to or instead of the big toe. These include the instep, ankles, heels, knees, wrists, fingers and elbows. Calcareous deposits uric acid, also called tophi, can appear as lumps under the skin around the joints and covers the rim of the ear. Uric acid crystals can also accumulate in the kidneys and cause kidney stones. What is important to understand that gout can be "controlled" and not "cured."
