The Disease Gout
Peripheral arterial disease of the legs?

My mother (age 76) had peripheral arterial disease of lower extremities. Stents were performed in both legs (years). Both stents have failed. Severe pain in his left foot, which had originally suspected that it might be gout (I do not believe that is the drop). I know she needs to see a doctor for this. My question is: Does anyone know what happens after medicine and surgery have been exhausted for the treating this disease?

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), also called peripheral vascular disease is atherosclerosis of limb ischemia resulting lower. Mild PAD may be asymptomatic or cause intermittent claudication, PAD can cause severe pain at rest, skin atrophy, hair loss, cyanosis, ischemic ulcers, and gangrene. Diagnosis is by history, physical examination, and measuring the ankle-brachial index. Treatment of PAD is a slight modification of risk factors, exercise, antiplatelet drugs, and cilostazol or possibly pentoxifylline as needed for symptoms. Platform Graves often require angioplasty or bypass surgery and amputation in May. The prognosis is generally good with treatment, if the mortality rate is relatively high because the coronary artery or cerebrovascular disease often manifests itself. Please check the website for more information on arterial disease peripheral.
